Confidentiality:
Conversations between the student and the counselor are considered confidential unless a student tells us someone is:
- harming them
- they are harming themselves, or
- they are harming someone else.

Vision Statement:
The students at Marco Forster Middle School have developed the attitudes, skills, and knowledge to be successful members of society in the 21st century. Our students are problem solvers, responsible, resilient, and self-advocates. Our students have also learned the importance of being respectful and positive influences to others regardless of differences. Marco Forster Middle School students also have the background knowledge and resources to be successful in their future careers.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Marco Forster Middle School Counseling Program is to provide all students with a data-driven comprehensive school counseling program that supports all students’ academic, college/career, and social/emotional needs. Through the use of data, surveys and collaboration with stakeholders, we identify needs and advocate for equity, access, and success for all. In addition, we are dedicated to providing students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that prepares them to be successful citizens in the 21st century that exhibit character excellence.
